Restoration is responsible for the ecological restoration of the Arcade Creek. The ecological restoration consists of three parts: the cleaning up of the creek, the removal of invasive species, and the restoration of native species. Restoration has done much with the removal of thousands of pieces of trash, including bottles, tires, and shopping carts. They have been constantly battling the invasive red sesbania, which is choking the creek and reducing the flow to a trickle. Restoration has been planning the reintroduction of native grasses and, recently, it has seen success with the sighting of salmon, indicating the increasing health of the creek.
